Summary of E-discussion; HIV and the Law

This report captures the E-discussion conducted on the Asia Pacific Community of Practice on HIV, Gender, and Human Rights (HIV-APCoP) from 17 February to 11 March 2011, which built on the 16-17 February Asia-Pacific Regional Dialogue of the Commission on HIV and the Law,  held in Bangkok, Thailand. The E-discussion, titled HIV and the Law, focused on the key areas outlined by the Commission, as they relate to women and girls. It provided an opportunity for network members to participate and inform the Global Commission on HIV and the Law. 30 contributions were received from regional and national civil society organizations, public health departments, parliamentarians, academic institutions and UN staff in the Asia Pacific region.
